Meet Larissa Stockton
After nearly two decades abroad and in various states coast-to-coast, my family has taken root in the uniquely beautiful community of Wayzata. This community has captured my heart and I have found a forever home here in Wayzata!
As a City Council member, it will be my goal to
keep this gem we call Wayzata radiant and bright.
And the best way I know how to do that is to use my background and experiences to bring a new perspective to the Council and use my voice to help preserve, protect & advance

Currently serving as Vice Chair of the Wayzata City Planning Commission, Larissa wants to do all she can to keep Wayzata the bright and shining gem she sees it as!
As a parent, Larissa was drawn to this vibrant, family-oriented community that holds such regard for nature. She loves the lake and touches of the small-town feel Wayzata has as well as proximity to the city. The mother of three children, Larissa is proud to have put down roots here and has taken an active role in this community she admires so much.
She has served on numerous task forces (see above), spends time volunteering in children’s education, and engages with local businesses as a strategy consultant.
Larissa’s unique background includes experience in the areas of:

Having lived in three different continents and multiple historic and iconic cities including London, Singapore, and New York, Larissa understands the balance of preserving the beauty of the past while paving the way for a successful future.
She has witnessed first hand the change and development of cities, companies, and cultures around the world. As a result, she is unafraid of the unknown and faces new endeavors with a spirit of openness and the wisdom to discern the best solutions at hand.
Larissa knows the value of working with colleagues and stakeholders. She aims to work collaboratively to take stock of where Wayzata is now as well as keeping a watchful eye on where it is going. Larissa feels an immense sense of duty to preserve the gem of Wayzata for community members and visitors alike.
She would be honored to be entrusted to act on behalf of this community to the best of her ability.
